Function
This blastgate could be attached to tubes with 50mm inner diameter. The other side has a conical port where a hose can be just pushed in with the 48mm adapter. The layerlines give a good hold. This adapter could be glued to the end of a 40mm suction hose. I also added a plug to the ground windings of the hose.
In the second part of the blastgate a socket can be attached and wired back to your dustcollection system. So it could turn on automatically, when power is consumed. I used a simple power-jack as a plug for grouding the hose and keep static charching away.
Additional Parts
To assemble it you will need 4x M4 nuts and 4x M4x20 cylinder-head screws.
If you'll add the socket you need another 4 M4 nuts and 4x M4x12 screws.
On top is a 20mm hole for a cable connector. And on the bottom a hole for a 5.5mm power-jack
Printing
The parts should be printed in the orientation of the STL files. This gives the beste strength, and less support. The slider may need some sanding after printing to slide easily.
