This model includes a magnetic holder that fits in the probe mount on your DMC and is held in with magnets.
There are two different styles of dial gauge mounts, one for a regular dial gauge and the other one for a gauge with dovetail.
The mag holders are also provided in 2 lengths, a longer one for a dial gauge to accommodate the diameter of the dial gauge and a shorter one for the dovetail indicator.
Two versions are included, one for M5 hardware (No insert needed) and another (untested) for M3 hardware with an M3 heat insert in the mag holder.
You need two 12x4mm magnets, glued in with CA glue. Smaller diameter magnets can work, but with less holding power. Just glue them in the center of the magnet pockets.
The mount can be moved 90 and 180 degrees to position the indicator in whatever location you want.
Printing:
I printed in ABS 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm line height, 120mm/s speed. Print in the orientation provided, I didn't need any supports.
