I created this guard to stop my pets from attacking the filament as it enters the top of my enclosure.

I created this guard to stop my pets from attacking the filament as it enters the top of my enclosure. It does not lock, but it is enough to obstruct the filament so my pets ignore it.
Future plans: I may create a remix that attaches the the spool holders (seen in red).
