With Mac OS Ventura and iOS 16 now released, one can now use your iPhone as a far superior web cam for your MacBook.
I challenged myself to design and print an iPhone adapter instead of ordering the Belkin adapter. Did some research, found the magnets and iterated through a few designs.
This first release is a quick print (55 min) and has embedded magnets.
Warning: make sure your Prusa is dialed in!!! To make the magnets stick to the iPhone with a case, the distance between the magnets and the iPhone is -one- 0.2mm layer.
Second warning: DO NOT PRINT WITH PETG. Magnets don't like to the high bed temperature and will degrade during printing.

- 3MF and g-code has a pause step to allow you to add the magnets.
- Ensure you orient the magnets correctly!
- Magnet strength is ok-ish. I've ordered a different set that hopefully is stronger. Let me know if you know a good source for Magsafe magnet sets.
