Mount for use with sPOD touchscreen, specifically for use with a Toyota 4Runner (5th gen, possibly others). This mount will securely hold the touchscreen to the center console just below the HVAC controls, and above the 4-wheel drive shifter.
This model was specifically designed with set angles in mind, and not adjustable. While off-road the conditions can get quite intense, and excessive shaking, drops, bumps, washboards, etc could cause an adjustable mount to become loose.
I've included 2 angles, both of which seems to work well for me. The first is 90º and the second is 112º. When mounted, these seem to provide a great viewing angle for the driver or passenger, without obstructing access to the cubbies, or 4-wheel shifter, yet still accessible while driving.
sPOD bolts onto back of mount with supplied nut. Mount connects to center console section with 2x 3x12mm machine screws, and nuts. Once the desired angle mount is chose, threadlocker is advised.
