Modular 3D Christmas Star - Oktaeder

Object description:

Every year the same problem. 3D stars or big baubles are beatiful but need a lot of space for storage.

For this reason I designed a modular system. It's easy to assemble and disassemble. Welcome to the Modular 3D Christmas Star System.

This system offers almost endless combinations of forms, sizes and colours. From a bauble to a star, everything is possible.

 It consists of four main components: the base form, the tips, the hanger and the connectors (clips).

Comments and parts list:

First you need to choose the basic length for all parts: L30 or L40 mm. Then stay with it. You don't need any part of the other sizes.

L = the length of the baseline of the shape in mm.

H = the height of the tip

For this Oktaeder-Star you need the following components:

1x Base Part

7x Tip-Triangle

1x Hanger

8x Clip (Different types available. The bigger the number in the file, the stronger it fits)

Other designs with partly identical parts will be published. You can reassemble your already printed parts to another design whenever you want.
