Simple rear-mounted Z limit switch mount for the Millright Mega V, replacing all of:
- the long-armed limit switch,
- “Z Engager Bracket”
- “Z Engagement Stud”
- m5x35mm screw, lock washer, and nut
- long armed limit switch
- extension piece, and screw
with a single bracket and a roller limit switch (I used a TEMco CN0097)
Two brackets are included:
- A larger (slightly adjustable) bracket that holds the limit switch off to the side so that the switch can sit lower, for the original Z plate
- A smaller bracket for z-plates that can travel closer to the top of the Z axis linear rails
