I used ASA filaments with good results. The scale standoffs also provide holes for 4-40 brass threaded inserts to be melted in place with a soldering iron. Likewise, the carriage sensor mount also uses the 4-40 brass threaded isnert. Likewise, the cable clips for the display stand whose pattern is provided as .dxf file to be cut from steel sheet 0.1" or 2.5mm thick.
For brass threaded inserts, I used 'E-Z Lok' brand, PN HI-004-WH.
PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO MOUNT THE I-GAGING ENCODER SCALE UNDER THE CROSSFEED SOME MATERIAL MUST BE MILLED OFF OF THE CROSS FEED COVER TO CLEAR THE SCALE. WILL NOT WORK IF YOU DONT MILL THIS MATERIAL!
