I have ordered a tiny neat PCB from Aliexpress, which can send protocol to Power Delivery compatible Power Supplies to get different output voltages. The Power Supply has to have support for PD protocol, to get possibility to acivate different output voltages. These PS is always with USB-C connector and it is stated on the PS's label, as for one I have (see picture above). The board consists of a USB-C receptacle connector, a press button and a multy colour LED for information of the output voltage. Search on Aliexpress for “zypde” board, developed by YZXStudio.

This enclosure is not compatible with simillar board: ZY12PDS (somewhat lagrger)! My enclosure is only developed for ZYPDE board, because this is the only board I currently have.

PD2.0 & PD3.0 have support for following output voltages: +5V, +9V, +12V, +15V and +20V, up to 100W. I added a lable on this box, which explains the LED colour and output voltages:

  • R (red): +5V (default)
  • Y (yellow): +9V
  • B (blue): +12V
  • G (green): +15V
  • LB (light blue): +20V

On my new Power Bank, I get more output voltages:

  • R (red): +5V (default)
  • Y (yellow): +9V
  • G (green): +12V
  • LB (light blue): 15V
  • B (blue): 20V
  • P (pink): 11V
  • W (white): 11V

To be sure in your case, you need to measure end verify output voltages for this board.

If you ask me how much current one can get on specific voltage from this board, answere is not in this board. The board sedns only the PD protocol to the PS. How much current you can get, look on the PS's label, you have. If you can't get some or all voltages (except +5V), it means that your PS does not support it, or do not have support for PD protocol.

My PS and this board are used for my TS100 (Miniware) soldering iron, which needs 12-24VDC. This board may be used together with Power Delivery compatible Power Banks too.

I have provided two different covers for this enclosure: one for the PCB with screw terminals and one for the PCB, without any output terminals, where you can solder wires directly on the PCB.

The printed files are sliced for PLA, one complete file for screw terminals, and one without it. I suggest layer height of 0.1 to 0.15 mm for this tiny board.
