Hate watching those pesky video ads that play before your favorite cat videos on Youtube? You can easily skip it with one tap on the “>>” key on this mini keyboard. Those small ad banners that pop up at the bottom can also be quickly removed by hitting the key marked with “X”.
☆☆☆
READ THESE NOTES:
These commands only work when in full screen!
Make sure to install and enable this chrome extension so that the video ad skipping will work! Set the “Advance 30 seconds” to the ‘r’ hotkey.
Everything prints without supports! It is possible the files will import into the slicing software with a tiny scale. If so, make the scale 1000%.
If you look closely at the code, these commands are executed by typing on the keyboard, moving, and clicking the mouse in a certain way to emulate a human doing it at lightning speed. Therefore, Youtube Ad Skipper may not work 100% of the time as expected. For best results, press all the way down on a key and release, wait for an action to fully complete before trying to attempt another shortcut.

How to print the graphics:
- Print “Upper”.
- When it finishes printing, don't remove it from the plate. Without lifting the entire plate from its position, you can remove any skirts or testing bits if any, but please leave the upper case stuck on the plate in the same exact position or else the next part won't work.
- Change the filament color of the 3D printer.
- Print “Graphics”.
- The graphics will be layered on top of the upper case. You can now remove everything from the build plate.
- Follow similar steps while printing “Keycaps Graphics” first with “Keycaps” layered on top after.
☆☆☆
Parts List:
- Print x1 “Upper” with x1 “Graphics” layered on top
- Print x1 “Lower”
- Print x1 “Keycaps Graphics" with x1 “Keycaps” layered on top (total of 2 keys)
- x1 Arduino Pro Micro (I just get a cheap off-brand, they work fine)
- x2 Cherry MX Keyswitches (cheaper if you buy more at a time)
- x2 220Ω Resistors
- x1 Micro USB Adapter
☆☆☆
Instructions for Assembly:
- Use the Arduino IDE to upload the code to the Arduino Micro.
- Pop in the keyswitches. Make sure they are in the right orientation!
- Follow the wiring diagram (at the end of the photo gallery) to solder the resistors and wires across the keyswitches.
- Solder the wires to the Arduino Micro.
- TEST IT OUT BEFORE SEALING (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Glue the Upper and Lower together!
- Now you can simply plug in the USB into your computer and it will work! If any “Keyboard Assistant” window pops up, you can simply close it since there's actually no setup required.
