Known as “swarf collector” if you need to google it. Works also for collecting the box of washers you drop to the floor.
Push the magnet all the way to the tip of the shaft and roll the tip over the things you are collecting. Move the tool over a thrash can, tray or your desk and pull the plunger so the magnets move beyond the hilt and everything collected drops off. You can also use your hand as a makeshift hilt if you want more accurate control where things fall when you pull the magnet back.
Uses 2 pcs 10 mm x 10mm x 5 mm magnets and 4 pcs M3x10 screws. STEP file included.
