A cracked flower pot, I tried to highlight the cracks with some paint and sanding to keep the paint only in the cracks. It's inspired by Kintsugi art.
The result is interesting but messy, the paint settles in the layers' hollows (I printed with 0.3mm layers).
Sadly, I burned the surface because I used a coarse sanding paper with an electric screwdriver, mixing the paint with the PLA....
So :
If you want to paint it, it will be a lot better with 0.2 or 1.5mm layers and a manual soft sanding with fine sanding paper.
Some varnish will help to shine the surface.
I obtained a pot without leaks after some fine tuning : maximum walls (0% void), concentric filling, no retractation, 0.2mm coasting distance, etc
