The original base had to sit on the edge of a shelf so that the bottoms of the PCIe brackets could stick down. I wanted more flexibility, so I added height to the unit. This lets the cards fit without protruding too far.
I also stretched the whole model just slightly to make the slots less snug. I found many cards so hard to put in I was concerned about damage to the interface when I printed it, so I gave it a couple percent stretch. I then removed a little on the ends that was wasted space (and filament) and took off the slope at the ends of the slots to let the cards fit better.
