Spool Holder for 20X0 Extrusions
Meant to be mounted on top of the printer by attaching to the horizontal 2020 extrusion profile. Personally, I currently use this on a Sidewinder X1. I see no reason why it would not fit on a Ender-3, CR-10 and all other printers following that heritage.
Non-printable parts required for assembly:
- 1* 8mm threaded or smooth rod
- 4* M3x8 screw
- 4* matching washers
- 4* m3 slot nuts
- 4* 608zz (skate) bearings. If in need, loot your fidgets.
Notes
- Spool adapters fits spool holes between 80mm and 42mm.
- Spool adapters contain support-structures baked in into the model which requires layer heights no taller than 0.2mm
- If using a threaded instead of a smooth rod, the clip fasteners might be optional.
- Clips should be printed with PETG. Generic PLA might be too brittle and deform over time too much.
