This is a strut cap designed to fit the Mini Cooper R53 with KYB tophats. Neither the OEM or included caps fit well, allowing dust/dirt/debris to enter the bearings below. This design utilizes a 2 degree taper with crush ribs to account for manufacturing tolerances, both in the tophat and the print. As a result, this design may fit alternate models, years, or tophat brands with or without some scaling applied. Feel free to provide any feedback or tweaks you might like to see.
