This enclosure fits the 55 x 40mm rain sensor (with a bit of glue to seal the enclosure). There is enough space to add a NodeMCU with buck step-up / down converter module to power the NodeMCU from an alternatice DC power source, or space for a small LiFePO4 battery. 5mm LED space also included on top of the case to add an LED indicator.
This model can be printed without supports, but is recommended if printing the top facing down (on the printer bed).
Make sure you seal the rain sensor in place (hot glue, silicon, etc.) to ensure no water can enter the case.
