We needed to attach a 60mm thread to a 25mm hose. Only off the shelf solutions we could find would have needed multiple parts and connections.
I'm a bit apprehensive about using a 3D printed part like this in such a critical section of our plumbing, so I went overboard.
I've printed it with 100% infill in PETG, using 0.15mm layer height.
As this is going to be used in a kitchen sink, it feels like I want the inside to be as smooth as possible to prevent little bits of food and stuff getting stuck on it. For that reason, I've oriented it upright with the barbed end down, and supports touching the build plate, to reduce the amount of sanding I'll need to do.
I have no idea if this is going to work, but it's what we're going with. If it fails catastrophically, I'll come back and update this.
