Hey guys, this is a small filament trashcan I have made to mount near a 3D printer so that I don't need to go to the trashcan in the kitchen, every time I need to throw some filament residue or failed prints away.
The model has two bins so that you can separate two different filaments if you want to proper recycle the used materials correctly. The labeled version has one bin labeled as PETG and the other one labeled PLA which I think applies for most people out there. If it does not, I have also uploaded a non labeled version of the model. The advantage of this design is that the two bins itself are removable (slide in and out) so that you won't need to dismount the whole thing, once they are full.
The trashcan body can be mounted with two M5 countersink screws.
For the two bins you need approximately 2x 2h 5min and 2x 12,5g of filament
For the trashcan body you need approximately 13h 45min and 137g of filament
Total time usage 17h 55min
Total filament usage 162g
Print settings:
You can print all models out of the filament you would prefer. I have printed it for example in PETG in two different colours. Your can also print the body in one colour and each bin in two different colours so that you can even better differentiate them.
The two bins should be printed in vase mode.
