With thick GPUs like my Noctua modded one, the default vertical GPU riser holes would not work in my Corsair 4000D. So I designed a stand for the riser PCB, with overall support for the GPU, that can be screwed to the more internal holes above the PSU enclosure. Due to the riser cable's “springy” pressure, the PCB slots easily into the stand and doesn't need further locking.
There is now plenty of clearance between the glass panel and the GPU, even on this really thick GPU, and the temperatures are amazing.
With the card more inwards, however, a case mod in the IO area is required to get the cables through, as shown in the picture.
The model shown was printed in white PETG, and has been perfectly fine for close to a year now.
It hasn't been tested, but I suspect this also fits the 5000 series :)
