I've always been concerned while transporting my hiking sticks about the possibility of the sharp and hard tip of my sticks to hurt somobody or something.
while strapped to your backpack, on the trunk of your car or inside your wardrobe this tip should make your poles a little less dangerous.
The tip does not rely on tight fit and an elastic is required.
You can usually find such kind of elastic chord in a haberdashery together with the adjustment clips and terminators. (I've used 40 cm for each tip)
Decided to print mine red to increase visibility and hopefully not losing them.
