What is this?
This is a simple holder for an Orange Pi Zero 2 which makes it disappear nicely underneath the build plate. Originally designed for my Sovol SV06, but it should easily work with lots of other printers.
Requirements
If you're using the Orange Pi with its heat sink, you can just use the screws and washers that came with it. Otherwise, you can use M2.5 screws to secure the Pi to the holder. To mount the holder to the printer frame, t-slot nuts and M4 bolts work nicely.
Why do I need this?
Due to the ongoing Raspberry Pi supply difficulties, I decided to use an Orange Pi Zero 2 to upgrade my SV06 to Klipper. There are plenty of Raspberry Pi holder models out there, but I wanted one for an Orange Pi that doesn't protrude from the frame.
My setup
I wanted the Pi to turn on and off when I flip the switch on the printer's power supply, so I added a DC-DC converter that outputs 5V to the Orange pi. The input voltage is the 24 volts that I'm grabbing from the fan power clamp in the electronics box of the printer. I fitted the converter to the other side of the frame, just underneath the electronics box.
