With this Hyperscope, the world will look smaller.

It multiplies your inter-pupillary distance by about 2.5
As a consequence, the world will look about 2.5 times smaller.

The fusion 360 project is included.
This design is in no way optimized for easy assembly of the mirrors.

Before final assembly with the screws, the first thing is to use a glue gun to mount the mirrors.

First the big ones. Ensuring alignement with the plastic plane.

Then for the small ones, apply a little amount of glue and (while the glue is still hot) move a little the mirror so that it is aligned (look through the double reflection). Mirrors are aligned (parallel) when there reflected image does not look rotated at all.

Screw the 2 sides with the "attache" using 6x  5mm diam (M5) screws/nuts with washers on both sides. Screws should not be longer that 25mm or it will be harder to insert them after the mirrors are mounted.

Washers external diameter <= 11.7mm for 2 of them.

The mirrors are trapezoidal. See drawings for the exact dimensions of the model. This model has no margins.
They should fit inside this :
Mirrors dimensions :
2x "Big" Mirrors 35mm (close side) x 120mm (far side) x 145mm (distance from close side to far side)
2x "Small Mirrors" 26mm (close side) x 43mm (far side) x 30mm (distance from close side to far side)

I have not tried using reflective film. I doubt the result would be good. But you may try.

How to make the mirrors.... A professional did these for me 30 years ago... originally, I assembled them using cardboard. Time for an upgrade was long overdue.

Print instructions

Can be printer in draft mode. With 0.4mm or 0.6mm nozzle.

Use 4 perimeters for the vertical shells (instead of infill). This will make the side planes print cleaner (else you may have dirty infill artifacts appear).
