Arcade Joystick with HAPP hardware

I had two sets of original HAPP controls arcade buttons and joystick bought in the '90s and never used since then, so I gave them a good purpose!

While the top panel in the pictures is laser cut 5mm perspex, it can be printed without any problem. In both cases, countersinks have to be made on all screw holes. And even if the final size of joystick is 30x18cm, it's split so that it can printed with a standard Prusa I3 MK3. No need for a bigger printer.

Given the hard hits the joystick must endure, everything should be printed at >50% infill and with at least 4 perimeters. 

0.3mm layer height with the 0.4mm nozzle is perfect to save time, as there's no need for precision. If parts are placed correctly on the print plate, no supports are required. 

The Prusament PLA GALAXY BLACK is PERFECT for this thing! 

Top and bottom cover must be attached to the body with M3x16mm self-tapping screws with countersunk head. 

The two middle body halves must be joined with 4 M4x15mm screws and nuts.

Joystick is attached to the top panel with 4 M4x30mm screws and nuts.

HAPP joystick must be fit with the “WOOD PANEL” (the longer one) spacer or there will be not enough space in the box. If you like a shorter joystick, use the “METAL PANEL” spacer and change the height of middle section by 10mm.

Wires bundled with the controller must be extended as they're too short. Any other arcade controller can be used, but holes on the bottom base are for the linked board. 

Board is attached to the base with 4 M2x6mm self-tapping screws.

There are five additional 4mm holes on the base, if you need to mount big feet or suction cups.
