My Trianglelab runout sensor needed a final attachment to my V0.1.
I designed two parts, one is the replacement of the right rear foot. Second is the holder for the runout sensor.
Foot part receives two heat inserts M3, to receive the two M3 screws of the holder. Thus the holder can be mounted on three positions, which makes your living hopefully more convenient. For the holder you need three ECAS04 nipples, this is not suitable for Festo-like nipples for the PTFE tube. ECAS04 nipples are much better for release and non wearing PTFE so quickly. Three of these are inserted in the holder.
Holder is now screwed to the foot, either right, middle or left position. You can use countersunk screws, but for tolerance reasons I eventually decided to use button head screws (hex caps are also ok). This allows me to play a bit with the holder position before tightening. Find your best position for least friction of filament to the system. Countersunk maybe jams too much, my experience!
Connect the sensor via plug to your Voron and go ahead. Often when I am sure not to run out of filament, I detour the system by inserting a dummy filament piece and feed the PTFE tube by the upper nipple.
