A support for the Sovol SV06 Plus cable which runs from the control board box to the print head. On my unit the metal cable support did not extend down in to the control board box, so the support was not firmly guided upwards away from the print bed. Therefore, the cable was dragging on the print bed. This part provides additional support to the cable, ensuring that it is guided upwards securely from the control box where the flexible metal insert can continue to do its job.
I printed in PLA with 10% gyroid infill at 200 degrees hotend, 60 degrees bed on the SV06 Plus.
To fit, firstly power off the printer and disconnect the power. Undo the single bolt at the rear of the control box and open the access door. WARNING there are exposed electrical components and live power cables inside the control box. This printed part slides in to the top of the box, fitting above and below the outer case perimeter. Close the box door and tighten the single bolt. Apply a single zip-tie around the cable and your newly fitted part.
