Extrusion profile printer enclosure accessory set - hooks, holders and brackets

OVERVIEW

When finalizing my printer enclosure to an efficient workflow I wanted to support ease of access to small tools, mini filament spool storage and other small bits but keep them relatively organized and out of the way until i needed them.

The core set of accessories all attach to alum profile extrusion (my enclosure is made from 2020) with an M5 bolt and slot nut and contains an assortment of different sized hooks, catch-all trays, micrometer bracket and raspberry pi zero bracket.  I've been using M5-16 bolts for most of these.

These models all have nice radius edges and smooth contours because i wanted a very soft and organic-feeling finished product versus a very hard-edged look & feel.

Each model was designed in Shapr3D on iPad with pencil.  I've included STEP files for those who want to remix or adapt.

PRINTING

Some items may require limited use of tree supports just to keep bolt holes nice and round or to support the raspberry pi bracket which is angled from the profile to afford a better viewing angle.

I've been using 0.6 nozzle, 0.2 layer heights and 0.8 wall widths in your material of choice with your infill of choice.

I've been using Cura with adaptive layer heights and adaptive line widths to achieve really nice final product…  because of the soft curves and organic shapes of these items lower layer heights may produce better final results that look more like the CAD renderings.

The long hook, short hook, micrometer bracket and long shallow loaf tray are universal models that don't have a left or right-hand orientation, the other pieces have been mirrored so you can use them on either side of your enclosure (or printer frame) and attain the orientation you like.  (noted as part A or B)

Magnetic micrometer bracket can be printed without supports by laying the back of the part onto the build plate.  There's a small 6mm recess for a common 6x3mm magnet to hold the micrometer firmly to the bracket

Products pictured in the photos accompanying this listing were printed with Overture Matte PLA - Black which i use a lot, it has a nice matte surface finish a bit less shiny than a black silk and prints well.
