Here we have battery doors for the fake Stryfe (sold under names such as “Bonbell” and “FoMass”). There is both a normal verion (which is a direct replacement for the stock part) and and extended version which gives an additional 16mm clearance.
This Chinese clone of a Nerf “Stryfe” is not only cheaper than a real Stryfe, but comes with fully automatic firing electronics by default, as well as a selection of tacticool body kits.
Unfortunately (presumably to make room for the full-auto business) the battery compartment is significantly smaller than a normal Strye, and so existing Stryfe battery doors will not fit.
Fortunately for us, the battery compartment is just long enough to accomodate a 3s Turnigy Bolt 1000mAh LiPo battery. In order to do so, I've created an extended battery door for my fake Stryfe. Note, this Turnigy Bolt 1000mAh is my smallest 3S LiPo, a Zippy Compact 1000mAh 3s LiPo does not fit (it is too long) and a Turnigy Graphene 0.8 3s doesn't fit either (it is too wide).
I have not actually completed a full build with this battery so this should really be considered a WIP.
