There are cylindrical watertight enclosures with an outer diameter of 4.5inch available from the company Blue Robotics https://bluerobotics.com/ for building AUV's (autonomous unterwater vehicle) or ROV's (remotely operated vehicle). These parts allow an easy and cheap way to mount thrusters or other devices to it. In addition, 2 M3 x 30 screws with nuts and washers and 4 plastic buffers are needed to keep them in a fixed position on the smooth surface of the enclosure.
