This replacement ring for the joystick compartments not only provides a greater range of motion, but also allows room for the rounder OEM-style replacement sticks to be used if you want to replace the joysticks themselves with readily available aftermarket alternatives.
This model is VERY fragile on filament printers given the two "legs" that hold the cap in place on the controller are 1.5mm thin, and the most logical printing angles only add to this weakness. Print at a diagonal with supports to increase durability on the legs. It's sturdy enough even with PLA if you make the layer lines diagonal, but if they're horizontal you'll have a hard time keeping the legs from snapping off when you look at them wrong.
