You are also going to need to print 2 of the HTC Vive Headset Buckle by sheepslinky: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2008830
This is the buckle to attach to the strap. Here is a link to the strap I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0716XY98Z/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Then print out 2 of buckle mounts to attach them to the HMD.
They were all printed out of semi-flex TPU
To attach these to the HMD I used some double sided tape
To remove the original strap there are some tabs holding it on and I use a flat head to get off. There is another method get the strap off that involves taking it apart but I do not know the full details.
