The flames are modeled with varying wall thickness, and printed with 15% Gyroid infill, with the intent to get a “flame effect” when lit from inside.
When printed upside down, no supports are required. I used Prusa Orange PLA Prusament to get an orange flame color when lit with a white LED from the inside.
The exhaust cloud, I printed in clear PETG with 5% gyroid infill. I used organic support with a 30 degree overhang threshold.
To “light up” the flames, I added LED holders and Pi Pico W for remote on/off PWM control to modulate the LEDs.
