This dial gauge (8mm shaft) holder also includes a hole to attach the original ABL sensor.
I primarily designed this to test for X-twist, so I needed the dial gauge to be in the exact position of the nozzle to run ABL with the dial gauge in place.
As I didn't want to disassemble the original tool head, I just bought a new probe (search for LK12A3-4-Z-AX). That posed the connector problem. It's far easier to just plug this probe directly into the main board (5 pin 2.54mm JST) than to try to source those 1.24mm pitch connectors to plug into the extruder PCB.
Print it in the mounting orientation and without supports.
It mounts with the original 3 carriage screws. The dial gauge should be a snug fit without using the extra holes for a nut and bolt to tighten it, the ABL probe can be fixed in place with two nuts and washers (my probe came with that hardware). I needed to take the back off my dial gauge as there was a clip in the back. Works fine without. If yours is flat in the back, it should work fine.
In the photos you can see an older version with some holes for weight reduction. Found out, the slicer is much better at minimizing print time and material usage so I dropped those.
