Print 2 of these latches to stop this darn couch from slipping open when you try to sleep, or actually do anything, on it. I'm using them to secure the couch in its bed position.
Bill of Materials:
- Couch: IKEA Bygget https://www.ikea.com/de/de/p/bygget-recamiere-bettsofa-knisa-dunkelgrau-mit-stauraum-60503084/
- Screws: 8 x 3.5x12 SPAX (Raised head woodscrew)
Assembly instructions:
- The latches are positioned 56.5cm from the inside of the open end of the couch.
- The open slotty side of the latch points to the inside of the couch.
- Align the latch towards the outside of the couch.
- There are pictures that show you how I measured and oriented it.
- Repeat steps for both sides. (Don't forget to mirror the orientation.)
