BIG RED BUZZER / EMERGENCY BUTTON
(Grobhandtaster / Not-Aus)
I always wanted to have one of these "big red buttons".
Print instructions
Material:
For the bottom half of the base, I used black PETG from "Das Filament", for the upper half I used yellow (Maisgelb) PETG from "Das Filament" and for the actual button part, I used some cheap red PLA.
The yellow and the black part a screwed together by using four M3x30mm bolts (I used only 2).
And as the switch I used a modified one, which I salvaged from an old PC (together with its two M3x10mm bolts).
A similar switch: "PWL-2P1TL-6SASHA Netzschalter, Druckschalter 250 V/AC 6A" (buy it here on eBay)
Post-Printing:
1. Modifying the switch to a momentary pushbutton:
You probably want to modify the switch, so it functions as a momentary pushbutton.
To do this (depending on your switch), you need to remove the metal bracket/wire.
2. Assembly:
- Put in the pushbutton.
- Connect it to your electronics.
- Screw the two halfs together.
