This is a simple, yet elegant, way to make a cork coaster look and feel better than just a piece of cork.
Simply print the part, then glue in a piece of cord which has been cut to size. Cork dimensions are 95mm x 5.5mm. I suggest cutting oversize, then sanding down to the perfect fit for a smoother transition from plastic to cork.
The grooves on the inside are to help with epoxy grip as well as to help minimize squeeze out when inserting the cork into the glue.
