The Summer Extra Tall 48" wide baby gate has been an absolute tank - purchased in 2014 and used/abused by 2 kids.  The spring has since given up the ghost, but the gate still stands strong.  Along the way, the backstop for the gate broke, I redrew the part to fix it up.

2026 Edit: I received a message from @dholms_4925965 asking about the other half of this gate stop.  I happily obliged as I was sure I'd need it at some point as well.  In the process of taking it apart, I dropped the other half on my garage floor and cracked it 😂.  The commitment was very real.  In drawing this new half, I took up the opportunity to make a monster.  I took the original form of the parts and made behemoths.  Each part has buttresses to enhance screw holes, thin mating surfaces have been beefed up.  This is now one of the strongest pieces in the system.  If anyone has one fail, please let me know via message (a picture of the failure would be helpful) so I can draw around the failure mode.  In the model list, the new parts will be Big Chungus Top and Bottom. My Intent is to have the top (front) hug the vertical bar as much as possible.  I have included 2 tops, one may need just a slight shave to fit your specific gate.  If you do not want to deal with that, use the Larger Vertical file.  This is still rather snug, but may have the slightest bit of rock to it if you try moving it.  Mine had zero rattle which is a requirement.

2024 Edit: My kids killed the repair.  I drew the original part to look as much like the original as possible.  Post death of the replacement I decided that I no longer care what it looks like.  It is now a solid brick with enhanced support around the far screw holes.  I will include both files, one for aesthetics and one for function.  Note: the v2 reenforced version does not need advanced supports, only standard supports around the rounded edge.
