Wanted to share my progress on a small filter mod I’ve been working on for my Mk3s.

It is based on The Filter for Voron printers. I added some rails to fit into the extrusions under the print bed. To be used with a printer enclosure to recirculate and filter VOCs. The cavity is intended to be filled with pellet charcoal. See more details in the original link above!

It is powered from the psu by pulling power from the the einsy rambo connectors, see manual. There is a speed controller that works primarily as an on/off switch, but the fans I choose seem to have some variability.

Print settings:

PETG or whatever material is best suited for your enclosure
0.2mm layer height
There are 60 degree overhangs on the rails align with part fan accordingly

BOM:

• 2x5015 24v Fans
• 4x20ga Ferrules
• 2x20ga U Terminal Connectors
• 20ga Wire
• 1x"Mini DC 3V-35V 5A Motor PWM Speed Controller"(Check amazon or ebay)

Assembly:

WARNING ELECTRICITY CAN CAUSE INJURY AND POTENTIALLY DEATH! Ask a friend if you are uncertain.

1. Using the ferrules crimp the fan wires in parallel.
2. Attach to the correct terminals on the speed controller.
3. Using the 20ga wire, terminate one end with the U connectors and the other with ferrules.
4. Attach to the the correct terminals on the einsy rambo and speed controller.
