This is my take on inserts for Voron skirts.
They are shaped to perfectly fit into skirts, can be used in adjecent hexagons without overlap and are short enough, so most switches will fit there without issues.
There are 2 different front pieces, because top and bottom part of skirt has different radius. Backplate is the same for both variants. Rear side of front pieces is chamfered for easier mounting (chamfer on button insert points to chamfer on skirt).
For TOP button, you will need:
- 1x Button_top
- 1x Button_backplate
- 1x 16mm antivandal switch
For BOTTOM button, you will need:
- 1x Button_bottom
- 1x Button_backplate
- 1x 16mm antivandal switch
Parts are saved in right orientation for printing. Backplate can be printed without supports, Top and Bottom part should be printed with conceńtric support for switch hole.
These parts are having small contact area with buildplate, so consider printing them slowly and one at a time when you have bed adhesion problems.
