June 4, 2023 - This is a work in progress, the slide mechanism needs to be reworked. Also heat dissipation could be better. Leaving links in place should you want to make it yourself.
***For All Versions make sure to scale the lid down by 1% or 2% on the side that slides to allow lid to slide into place (Scale dependent on desired fit/printer tolerance, I scaled X down by 2%)
***HDD/SSD Sizes can vary fairly widely, I'd recommend customizing it to fit your own drives, or at least measure first to ensure fit rather than printing twice. Links Below

Version 1: Not Included Edit
Version 2: Not included Edit
Version 3: Capable of holding up to 3 external HDD/SSD + USB Hub. The outlet hole has been enlarged to allow multiple cables running through if needed. Edit
Version 4: Capable of holding up to 4 external HDD/SSD + USB Hub. Added some strength to the lid compared to Version 3. Edit

A bunch of standalone drives can clutter a desk quickly. Why not tuck them away?
This has been designed to have room to hide cables inside and with the use of a USB hub, a single cable can extend from the rear of the carrier to your computer. Also, stacking the drives keeps their footprint relatively small and contained. Heat dissipation/air flow concerns were taken into consideration however I wont know its effectiveness until it has been in use for awhile.
Designed with Tinkercad and a caliper
Additionally, I have some spare cabinet door bumpers laying around so used them as feet for the carrier. You can add printed feet to the design through Tinkercad if you wish, but should not be necessary.
