Ahoy!
Wanted to design a multicolor capable, collapsible Pirate Style spyglass.
It is comprised of 5 parts:
- Eyepiece Nut
- Middle Nut
- Outer Sleeve
- Middle Sleeve
- Inner Sleeve
Dimensions:
- Outer Diameter: 57mm
- Closed Length: 100mm
- Open Length: 190mm
- Inner Diameter of viewport: 30mm
Print Settings:
- Designed for 0.4mm nozzle printed at 0.2mm layer height
- I used Silk PLA, use whatever
- I used Prusa Slicer Default settings for 0.2mm Quality
- No Supports required, All Files Orientated
If you want to print and manually change color out as seen in photos; I suggest Printing in minimum 3 steps:
- Inner Sleeve, Middle Sleeve, Middle Nut. (Layer Height for color change is the same for the bottom rings.)
- Eyepiece Nut. (will require 2 color changes)
- Outer Sleeve. (will require 2 color changes)
