Have fun with this model either as a useful can to keep your 3d print area tidy or as a benign fidget toy while searching for inspiration.
Settings:
- .1 - .2 layer height
- Supports- FO sho. I used a gyroid infill at 5% seemed to work great with easy cleanup (sadly the lid has to kind of float to make the hinge work )
- Wall count 2 @ 0.8 width
- Infill @ 10% with gyroid pattern. (could get away with less)
- Print speed 120 mm (reducing speed at higher layers)
Overall took about 2 hours to print. My Mod-t is on the slower side. Results may vary.
Post-Processing:
Using a utility knife. Carefully remove any stringing or elephant feet away from the door. Pull out supports from the bottom around the threads. After everything was cleared out the door swung freely with little slop.
