A 2x4 gridfinity soldering stand, it holds a metal soldering iron holder and a standard kitchen sponge. The screw hole is 4.5mm in diameter and the countersink for the screw head is 9mm in diameter this is a bit snug. My sponge is 58 x 78 mm.
The existing metal part is https://www.biltema.se/verktyg/lodning/lodningstillbehor/lodkolvstall-2000021081 and is almost guaranteed sold in other places in Europe.
It stays stable with the entire weight of my soldering iron and its cable.
Edit: I realized I designed this so that the screw on the bottom occupies the place where the gridfinity baseplate edge is, this can be fixed by cutting away some of the material from your baseplate, but it isnt as modular because of this design flaw :(
