THANKS!

Here I provide all my 3D-designs and needed parts to build a 7" AOS 7 build with functional GPS-Position Hold and the opportunity to fly long range. A 6S2P 8000mah battery will fit the frame as well. Adjustments in the length of batterycables will certainly be necessary.

For the GPS-Positionhold to work you need to install the Powercable from ESC underneath the frame between the bottom and middle plate like shown in the pictures.

Rangetest has not yet been carried out.

GPS Holder installation

No duct tape, no screws, no glue.

There are two Prints:

The GPS-Holder itself and a little Frame to fit the GPS-Module into the holder for a tight fit.

  1. Put the GPS in the GPS holder with the arrow facing foreward.
  2. Place the frame over the GPS. The arrow on the frame has to be on the little corner bevel of the GPS-Module.
  3. Push down the frame until it snaps in. Use something to push right on the Frame. You will not be able to push it down with only the fingers. Start to push down the front or the backside and continue with the other sides. You have to use a little bit of force until it snaps in. The frame will snap-in and hold the GPS in Place.
  4. Then connect the Cable and youre done.

Keep in mind: Once the GPS is installed like so, there is now way to get it back out without cutting open the whole print.

ELRS Antennas installation

  • These antennaholders are meant for installing two 155mm 2.4Ghz antennas from Foxeer and installing the receiver underneath the frame between the bottom and middle plate.
  • On the front and back of the frame there are two small plates installed, you can just unscrew one screw of the plate and push the plate to the side and then install the ELRS-Holder
  • There is a whole in the print where you can rout the cable trough.
  • There are two different mountingstyles avalaible: Straight and angled, choose what you prefere.

Air-Unit holder installation

  1. Insert the M2 locknuts on the underside of the BACK and FRONT print
  2. Install the BACK and FRONT Print on the 30 x 30mm on the AOS 7 with 4x countersunk screws (8mm or longer) with M3 locknuts
  3. Insert the Air-Unit inside the bracket
  4. Install the TOP-Plate with 18mm m2 countersunk screws
