This CAN bus cable retention clip is a reworked version of the v1.1 retention clip from the official BigTreeTech GitHub. I created it after finding that the original version interfered with the USB-C port and my extruder cables in a manner that left me concerned about mechanical damage to these components.
To solve this, I've added a cut-out/relief for the USB-C port on the underside of the clip, as well as a slight cut-away on the inside face to accomodate the extruder cables with a bit less mechanical stress. The result is that this mounts well with a standard M3x8 SHCS (unlike the original) and does not place undue pressure on the USB-C connector.
There are also some other small changes to make printing this in an appropriate orientation without supports easier, as well as shifting the support wire holes slightly to accomodate the relief for the USB-C port.
Printing Guidance
Print at 0.4mm layer height, with 4 perimiters, 5 top and bottom layers, 40% infill (standard Voron structural parts configuration). Ideally in ABS/ASA (however PETG may work if you don't run a chamber temperature too far above 50*C - keeping in mind that the standard CAN cable this is designed to support is only rated for ~85*C anyway and you're going to want to maintain some thermal headroom).
Print the part in the orientation shown in the cover photo - it is designed to be printed without supports and should not require a brim.
