This hotshoe cover is designed to protect the small pins on your camera's flash mount from dirt and potential damage. It is a quick (less than 5 minute) print without the need for supports or post processing.
Printing Instructions
- 1x wall loop (this is necessary to allow good bridging of the connector cover).
- 5x top and bottom layers.
- 40%+ infill
I recommend printing this part using ABS or PLA, however printing this out of TPU with 2-5% increased scaling can give you a more weather resistant seal if that's what you're looking for. PETG should work well if your printer can complete a 12mm unsupported bridge without sagging.
