Hextraction Cartoon Bomb Tile Remix

This remix of Zack Freedman’s Cartoon Bomb Tile & Card was made for both functional & aesthetic reasons. The primary changes were to remove the built-in sacrificial supports as most printers should be able to bridge this distance without the need for supports & to deboss the star in the base of the tile to prevent balls entering the tile at high speeds from being ejected. Print Settings

This tile & card should be properly oriented & are designed to be printed without supports. For best results, print using a 0.2mm layer height. I used 40% infill, but you can experiment with other infill densities if you’d like.

To print the tile & card with 2 filament colors as I have, using a 0.2mm layer height, these are the filament swaps needed:

Bomb Tile
Layer 1-20: black
Layer 21-25: red
Layer 26-75: black
Layer 76-95: red

Bomb Tile Card
Layer 1-10: red
Layer 11-16: black
Layer 17-36: red

Changes made from the original design:

• Bomb Tile — removed built-in sacrificial supports, centered & debossed star in base of tile, included originally intended fillet around inner edge of bomb
• Bomb Tile Card — centered & debossed star in base of tile card, adjusted extrude heights to allow 2-color printing to match tile, added period at end of rules text for continuity
