You can build this handle with two of the 3d printed parts. Additional you need a 25mm or 22mm fiber tube of 1mm wall thickness.
With “vetro” strips you mount the optional handle between the front and back handle. The superglue is used to connect the parts together. There are stl files for 22mm and 25mm tubes. You have to adapt the length of the tube for your size of wing.
If you have more then one Unit you can make a variable boom. Take a 22mm tube and a 25mm tube together, so you can make a boom for 6,5 to 4,5m² or 6.0 to 4.0m² wings. There are stl files for end sleeves for 25mm and 22mm with 0,1 and 0,2mm tolerance. Also freecad files are provided. In the spreadsheet of the unit_v2 file you can calculate the length of the tubes for the wings I have measured. Feel free to send me a message if you have questions.
The fix boom has to be mounted before and the variable boom after the wing is filled with air.
I used Prusament PETG Carbon Fiber Black for the part.
The handle works very well for me, especially during manoeuvres.
