My dad uses the Earthway seeder in his work, and he struggled with them not being tuned to his needs, and that they put out too many seeds (the 10 holes) plate.
this led me to remodel the plate and customize it with either a 7-hole variant or an 8-hole variant
2 Revisions:
V1 - basic hole shapes, similar to other CAD models I found around
V2 - Scoop-shaped holes, tapering down to the surface, with larger openings (closer to the original in shape), will work better if you are seeding corn
as per request ADDED A 20 hole version, hole dimensions are 8 mm x 4.5
Printing instructions:
Printed with PETG 50% honeycomb infill and 3-layer walls
the auto tree supports on
Both Plates fit together on my P1P and will fit on a Prusa
Customizations:
to play with the number of holes, change the number of instances in both circular pattern features on the SW part, and if anyone wants, I can add more stl files with a different hole number
Will update how it's holding up once it had some time in the field
