Cover for a 7 pin trailer wire harness. I damaged my existing harness mount and cover. Since the cover and mount were integral I would have to rewire to properly fix. Instead I created this cover and am able to tuck the harness up behind the bumper.
So far lasted through nearly two complete seasonal cycles, seeing temps from well below freezing (-30*F / -34*C) to temps around 95*F / 35*C in the summer. Plug cover is somewhat protected by being tucked up and is not near the exhaust. Printed in PLA.
Note, in the first and third photos it's just resting on the harness, no special attachment for storage while in use. Also the fourth photo is just to show what I mean by “tuck the harness up behind the bumper”.
Edit May 2025: Appears that there are other options out there now. I haven't printed any of these. Although this wouldn't work for my vehicle's plug, here is what appears to be another style of cover that could work nicely. This one is similar to mine and would likely work nicely.
