The IdeaFormer IR3 V1 extension is almost impossible to get a good level of the rollers without an angle iron and clamping fixture. Aligning vertical with a horizontally tightening screw is insane. You also have opposing screws that are sometimes impossible to get loose as it just spins the bearing.
This design creates a holder for the roller shaft, this provides a little grip that allows a local tightening and loosening of the roller shaft bolt. In addition it has a vertical adjustment screw to accurately position the roller as you tune them in, before final tightening to lock down. The final tightening does not move the roller.
Printed one of these on the IR3, but did most of my printing on my Bambu.
Assembly:
Using 3mm heat set for top to have a nice smooth bolt turn for adjustment.
M3x12 for the top bolt and needed to go M3x14 at the end two. Might have been able to lift it a little and stay M3x12.
Using M4x10 flat head for side bolts. It is possible M4x12 or longer might work, but I don't know how far in the threads go.
